What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund provides crucial flexible, unrestricted support to supplement tuition income, which covers about 85% of the budget. It ensures the delivery of engaging educational experiences aligned with Millennium’s mission.
Why is 100% participation important?
Full community participation demonstrates commitment to students, faculty, and the school’s mission. It’s a benchmark used by the National Association of Independent Schools to measure community support. Every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference.
Why not increase tuition instead?
Raising tuition could exclude valuable students whose families cannot afford an increase. The Annual Fund allows community members to contribute according to their means, ensuring a full educational program for all.

When does the Annual Fund run?
We launch the Annual Fund in October with the goal of wrapping up by December 31. However, you have until June 1 to make your gift. Indicating your intention by December 31 is helpful with budgeting and goal setting, and it keeps us from asking for donations all year long.
