Eight large classrooms boost our hands-on learning methods. There are dedicated science labs for experiments and a spacious Maker Space & Design Studio for creative projects. We have a special performing arts studio, a kitchen, and several outdoor play spaces, including a rooftop deck, a sports court, and an athletics field right across the street!
Education Beyond Walls
Students learn by doing, both inside and outside the classroom.
The city itself is part of our learning space. Just a short walk from school, students can explore City Hall, the San Francisco Public Library, many performing arts venues and museums, outdoor fields and parks, and a lively neighborhood full of cafes and shops. Every week, our students go out into our city for “real-world” learning. They might do professional apprenticeships, develop urban gardens, participate in community service projects, or take field trips to universities, labs, and businesses.
